「一人の人間が生きる中でその人の存在を示すためのささやかな指標となるオブジェクト」＝「パーソナルハッピーマーク」と名づけ、ドローイングに起こしてゆくシリーズ。フィリピン・イフガオ州での滞在中に見た豊年祭や、横浜での生活の中で目にしたものを中心に、計18点で構成。

作者の出身地である宮崎で数ヶ月間に及ぶリサーチをおこない、「家族」や「故郷」と自身との関係性、失われつつある土地に関する記憶を探っている。「炎」のドローイングは、親戚の一人が故意に思い出の品を燃やしてしまったというエピソードをもとに描かれた。これまでインスタレーションにこだわり制作してきた作者にとって、身体を包み込むような大きさのドローイングは身体性を伴う表現として結実する。
I conducted research for several months in Miyazaki, my birthplace, exploring the relationship between family, hometown, and the self, and rapidly disappearing memories connected to the area. The drawing depicting flames was inspired by a story one of my relatives told me about deliberately burned keepsakes. I have focused almost exclusively on installations in the past, and these drawings, large enough to envelope the viewer’s body, are highly physical expressions.

アメリカのハワイ州ホノルル市・ヒロ市において日系・沖縄系移民の家族観の変化を知るために、現地の文化機関、神社仏閣、墓地などを訪問した。その過程で目にした、軒先に吊るされた小さな魔よけや、亡くなった人に向けたレイ（花輪）など、ささやかな「祈りのための個人的なオブジェクト（パーソナルハッピーマーク）」に焦点を当て、１８点のドローイングを制作。短いテキストとともに空間にランダム展示。
“personal happy mark” is a series of drawing, which records impressions, which I received from my research trip to Honolulu and Hilo, Hawaii. I visited some cultural institutions, shrines, temples and cemeteries there to learn how the family value if the the Japanese and Okinawan immigrants has changed throughout the time. During my stay, I often found small amulets-like object hanged under the eave, the leis put on the gravestone, and so on. I named these objects as the “object for personal pray (personal happy mark),” created 18 drawings, and exhibited them with a short text in the gallery space.
